Getting Started

Would you like to see your applicants create powerful proposal requests?

This is an example of the cover letter feature. Prompts will guide the user through the process of writing a full cover letter.

Figure 2. Cover Letter Introduction

Items can be prefilled like the project title, the date, and the applicant’s name.

The blue labels below the field are Pick Lists.  They can be modified to show the most common response that the applicant would expect to see in that field.

The applicant clicks on one or more of the picks and it fills the previously empty field.  It’s as simple as that.

Cover Letter Mission

One way your applicants create powerful proposal requests is by articulating their mission clearly.

We’ve taken simple prompts to help the writer create a mission that will have you cheering them on.

Again, the applicant clicks on one or more of the picks and it fills the previously empty field.

The mission is left blank because it’s something that the applicant is encouraged to think about and write as a professional and, perhaps, personal exercise.

Cover Letter Positive Impacts

Your applicants will address many positive impacts with the funding you provide for their projects.

There are not as many prompts here but at setup you can create your own. You can also provide full-blown examples of different ventures that they can follow as examples.

You’ll find that four positive impacts are not enough once an applicant thinks things through. You can help them by providing guidance at this or at any point during the application process.

Cover Letter In Closing

Your applicants will have a belief in their work, in their project, or in their community. They remind you as the decision maker by stating that here.

Finally, they close off their cover letter professionally.

Together, the information from the fields on this page, combine to form the cover letter shown above in Figure 1 – Cover Letter Completed. It’s not a long letter but it is well-thought out. It also gives the applicant the confidence to tackle the remaining modules in your application process.

As a bonus, the applicant can copy that final letter and run it through an AI editor like Open AI and have it formatted it in a style that matches their own personal style. It will also correct any grammar and provide a polish that the applicant will be pleased with. Yes, we are going there: all in with A.I.
